ABOUT US: Fellowship
Episcopal Church Women (ECW)
The ECW is a nationally organized social and service group for the women of the Episcopal Church and individual churches establish their own chapters.
The ECW at Emmanuel strives to empower its members to do Christ's ministry in the world and to come together as a peacemaking, healing part of the church. All of the women of the parish, youth and guests are invited to attend and participate.
The ECW organizes fellowship activities throughout the year and serves as the coordinator for receptions and picnics. They also conduct fundraisers such as rummage sales, craft fairs and bake sales, to benefit local outreach organizations and they are responsible for the annual United Thank Offering. Meetings are held several times during the year following coffee hour and each year an Annual Meeting / Spring Luncheon is held at the home of a member.
