EFM is a course for building up one's own ministry, a ministry that derives from Baptism. Developed and sponsered by the School of Theology at the University of the South, the program requires a yearly commitment and grants a certificate at the end of four years.

EFM covers the basics of a theological education in the Old and New Testaments, church history, liturgy, and theology. Under the guidance of our rector Kira Skala, a trained EFM mentor, the class meets once a week in the Parish Hall on Tuesday evenings from 4:00 to 6:30 pm.

The goal of EFM is to teach you how to think theologically, deepen your faith and your understanding of our Christian heritage, and provide you with a new confidence to be Christ's minister.

"And now, Father, send us out to do the work you have given us to do,
to love and serve you as faithful witnesses of Christ our Lord."
