Mission Trips
A mission trip is a profound and life-changing experience. It is an opportunity for adults and youth to move safely out of their secure worlds into one of hardship and need and to witness, first-hand, the power of a few individuals working faithfully together towards a common goal.
Emmanuel Church mission trips are challenging, memorable and inspirational. They bring out the best in all who participate - empathy, humility, understanding, personal sacrifice, hard work and compassion.
In 2008 the youth of Emmanuel will participate in two mission trips. Our pre-teens will partner with local churches and service organizations in Manassas, VA to carry out community service work from June 22 - 27th.
Our older Youth will travel to Caguas, Puerto Rico on June 29 - July 4th to carry out light construction, home repairs and other forms of much needed community service.
