Pastoral care is the practical expression of the church's ministry of love for the needs of the community, the people of God, and individuals. Here at Emmanuel it is expressed in a wide variety of ways and through various forms of ministry.
In the event of an illness, injury, or any situation that requires support, volunteers are coordinated to provide regular meals for families or individuals. Knowing that a prepared meal is arriving on an evening allows a person to focus on other, more important, needs. These "Meals that Heal" are a tangible way to demonstrate God's love that unites this church community.
Some of our parishioners are homebound or have limited mobility, others need help with transportation or just a helping hand with chores. This one-on-one ministry is the cornerstone of our Christian relationships at Emmanuel Church.
