O come, let us sing unto the Lord!

Music at Emmanuel Church is an offering to the glory of God. The music is chosen to complement the lessons and the sermon text, as well as the liturgical year. Hymns are chosen from three sources: the 1982 Hymnal; its supplement, Wonder Love & Praise; and Lift Every Voice and Sing (LEVAS), an African-American Hymnal containing a collection of spirituals, gospel songs, and evangelical hymns.

We are blessed with a lively and vibrant music program that includes an Adult Choir, a Handbell Choir, a Youth Worship Team and many talented people who accompany these groups from time-to-time with musical instruments.

Our Adult Choir is made up of enthusiastic and devoted members who accompany the 10:00 a.m. service each Sunday morning. Choir practice is held weekly on Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

The Handbell Choir accompanies the 10:00 a.m. Sunday service seasonally throughout the year. Practice is held weekly on Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

Our Youth Worship Team consists of musicians, singers and worship leaders of all ages. This energetic group leads the worship at the monthly youth services.

Katherine Jameson, our Organist/Choirmaster, is always looking for new members. No experience necessary!
