Group Hike

Children And Youth

Youth Group is designed to foster friendships among our youth and to give them a space to explore their faith and the issues they are facing in life.

Sunday School

Formation for children ages 3-6 takes place on Sunday mornings at 10:00am. Children are invited to the Christian Education building for an engaging and lively discussion on the week’s readings.

Students join their families in worship at the passing of the peace.

If you're interested in getting your child started with Sunday School, reach out to Traci Johnson through our contact us page.

Youth Band

A couple times a year, our very own youth band accompanies us in worship. The youth play a variety of instruments including a tuba, sax, flute, trumpet, trombone, glockenspiel, and triangle.

If your child plays an instrument  or is interested in learning, reach out to Linda Beville through our contact us page.

Youth Events

Throughout the year, our youth gather for a number of events. Not only do these events foster community and fun, but they also play a vital role in the faith formation of our youth group. From Christmas parades to mission trips to days at the park our youth are a vital part of our parish.

Check out our monthly newsletter, The Evangelus, for more information on upcoming events.

Shrine Mont

Our diocesan camp and conference center, Shrine Mont, is one of our most prized possessions at Emmanuel. Every summer a number of youth make their way to the mountain for a week (or more) of camping, community building, and faith formation. It is a highlight of the summer for all who attend.

More information about Shrine Mont camps can be found online at: www.shrinemontcamps.net
